Jim is the second-in-command of the warriors of emancipation. Unlike most of the others, Jim does not smoke weed, he hardly drinks and is a vegetarian. He takes time out to mediate each day and tries to stay quiet as much as possible. Jim is so committed to the organization’s cause and his tenacity is visible at all times. This attitude is what keeps the rebels going on many occasions, and some of them secretly think he should be the one in charge. Despite how much these particular rebels try to hide it, Jim is quite aware of their admiration towards him and he takes it as a commendation of his dedication towards the cause. But that’s all he sees it as – he would never try to sieze control from Darby, or would he?
