Poe comes from a distant universe which is unfamiliar to Bannica and the Chromescape Universe at large. The entire universe is ruled by a Queen, also known as Space Queen, and Poe works directly for the right-hand man of the Queen. Poe's designation is to work with spies recruited from other worlds in to gather information and execute whatever order the Queen gives. While he his much dumber than he lets on, Poe has an amazing sense of dedication and commitment to his job, and his Queen. He is rather brutal when it comes to handling threats and dealing with unfavorable situations. Introduced to weed by Blake because it does not exist on his universe, Poe is chronic smoker and he smokes weed at every opportunity he gets.
